今年は、プロイセン(現ドイツ)と日本が国交をはじめて150年目。VACANTでもお祝いに参加します！
VACANTでも仲良くさせてもらっているアーティスト、東京・ベルリンを拠点に活動する花代さんが『Wir Kinder von UENO ZOO』というプロジェクトを進行中! ドイツで活躍する新しい世代のアーティストを、東京に点在する複数のオルタナティブアートスペースに紹介。アーティストとスペースが、このプロジェクトを通して出会い、既成 にとらわれないアートイベントを共に作り上げる事で、両国の理解を深め、来年、再来年へと継続可能な文化交流のプラットフォームを築いていくことが目的と花代さん。 今回のフライヤーにもデザインされているMAPをみるとたくさんのギャラリーが参加！毎晩、各所で面白い事が起こっています。 このお祭りにVACANTも参加することになりました！

This year, Germany and Japan celebrate the 150th anniversary of their diplomatic relations. “Wir Kinder von UENO ZOO” organized by Hanayo, Tokyo and Berlin based artist, a good friends here at Vacant, is a month long programme of celebration with collaborative projects between German artists and alternative spaces in Tokyo. The projects aims to promote new generation of German artists by creating site specific projects with alternative spaces in Tokyo which then strengthen mutual understanding between 2 different countries. Hanayo wishes that the project extends beyond this years framework and continue and develop a year by a year staring this year. There are many exciting events happening every night throughout November so to join the circle of commemoration Vacant team presents one night only dinner party!
